On Saturday, March 7th, the scouts went to Opelika to help with the Keep Opelika Beautiful day, and helped clean up shady park and the sides of the Pepperell Mill that burnt down. We even had some help from some Opelika Girl Scouts. After the cleanup was done, the scouts of troop 11 sat out and had a picnic with a beautiful view of the newly cleaned Shady Park. It was overall a good time where the scouts got to talk and help Opelika stay beautiful at the same time.
